Beetel Magiq 3G Tablet vs Reliance 3G Android Tablet

More than a year and we are still awaiting the launch of Sakshat Tablet PC/laptop from the Indian government. Infact to look at, many providers most private have jumped in and announced their tablet versions which might not be costing $ 100 but something in the near range when compared with premium tablets like Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Motorola Xoom.
India’s two leading network provider Reliance and Beetel has launched their tablets into the market and they have launched their tablets in India. So we have compared Reliance 3G tablet and Beetel Magiq 3G tablet on the basis of what they have on the paper.


The Reliance 3G tablet is an Android based tablet which runs the Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system. The firmware can be update with the latest firmware release by Google Android. Coming to the screen, it has 7 inches LCD WVGA capacitive touch screen display with multi-touch support. The screen is capable of displaying 800 x 480 resolutions. It boards an 800 MHz processor, good enough to support speed operation.
Apart from that one would expect a camera and it has 2 mega pixel camera on the rear side and a VGA camera on the front for video calls. Through Lithium ion 3400 mAh battery it can last for a day operation and it’s quite good when it comes to tablets backup.
It supports various audio formats like AAC, AAC+, AMR/AMR-NB, MP3 MIDI, Ogg PCM/WAV and MP4, H.263, H.264 video formats. One would be happy to see BMP, PNG and JPEG image format too supported by this tablet. It includes 4 GB of expandable memory through micro SD card and the microSD card can be expandable up to 32 GB in memory.
